Radiological diagnostics

Radiological diagnosis is a modern way of examining a patient, which involves diagnosing disease and the effects of injury using X-rays. Our practice successfully uses this method of diagnosis. With radiological diagnostics, the dentist can check the condition of individual teeth and periapical tissues of the maxilla or mandible, the temporomandibular joint and also the maxillary sinuses.

What can radiological diagnostics detect?

Radiological diagnostics

detects any lesions that cannot be recognised by intraoral examination of the mucosa, such as caries, cysts, tumours or tumours. We use X-rays for various types of injuries and diseases in the distinct craniofacial region, as well as periodontal, bone tissue and temporomandibular joint diseases.

We perform the following types of dental radiographs at our clinic:

  • Pantomogram
  • Tomography of the maxilla or mandible
  • Sinus tomography
  • Cephalometric radiograph
  • Temporomandibular joint radiograph
  • Single tooth radiograph
  • Bite-bite radiograph
